I was born in Oakland, California, in 1964; moved to Switzerland when I was very young, and then to Los Alamos, New Mexico, where my father worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory. I attended grade school through high school in Los Alamos, but in 1977, I lived for one year in England, not far from Manchester. I attended the University of Colorado starting in 1982 and studied art with Frank Sampson and Chuck Forsman, receiving a BFA in Art and Art History in 1987. I am a resident of Colorado and live in Boulder county with my wife Paige and my two kids.
I am inspired by nature, by people, by architecture and culture. I like to draw and paint, to play the classical guitar, to backpack and ski, to travel with my family.
Thanks for taking a look, and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
What do I have for sale? Framed prints and originals, plus I am available for commissioned work.
